It turns out that Mishaal Rahman from Android Authority has discovered why the Linux Terminal will not run on One UI 8 Beta for the S25 and Fold 7 flagships, even though it does run fine on the Flip 7.
Since the Flip 7 uses Exynos 2500 which supports non-protected virtual machines, it can run the brand new Linux Terminal.
However, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Samsung in the S25 and Fold 7 currently only supports protected VMs. It is suggested that a vendor update from Qualcomm could resolve this issue.
