I personally think the battery :battery: icon needs improvement, battery icon without percentage indicator just looks like a pill and it's just hard to tell if it's a battery icon a a pill shape for something else.

Mine actually shows the percentage... It did it by default.. Have you went under battery in the settings menu and clicked on the toggle that says show battery percentage?

Yeah looks a lot better with percentage. Would be nice to offer the classic icon with the new one though. I enjoy the new one but it's not for everyone.

The battery pill is really hard to read for farsighted people, like me. The battery percentage in 6.1.1 and prior was better!!

I second this also when the percentage is enabled as the battery goes down and turns gray the percentage is unreadable

The battery percentage is too small. The battery pill could be a little larger.

I do not like the pill either. Especially on Dark Mode having a constant white pill
