YouTube splash screen not dark

Whenever I use YouTube in Dark mode, the splash screen is white, so it hurts my eyes when I use it at night(every night). The app has been like this for years and I don't know why, can it just be fixed?

I noticed this too. Make the splash screen dark in dark mode

This is a Google App not Samsung so you need to suggest this to Google

Also, as far as I know, only YouTube does that. Chrome, on the other hand, shows a gray background when you open it fresh state.
