I have two suggestions, one I think should be implemented, the other is just a thought so anyway...
The first one is allowing to choose a color for the status bar icons. Since it is fairly clear with this fifth beta that Samsung is not going to allow a choice to what type of battery power icon can be used (like going back to UI 6.1), then at least allow QuickStar to choose colors for them. If I could set my own contrasting colors, I could see the numbers far better. Also, one app I have (weather app) uses its own color scheme for its status bar icon, so why not user choice as well. Also, the status bar icon color would not clash if users could make the icons' color choice aesthetically appealing overall.
The second, is to have a setting where a user can swipe away the icons in the status bar to have a true full screen. Then swipe it back to see if updates to like notifications, seeing battery power, etc. I know that would take some fine controls to make this happen, but that would be a great idea.

I suggested something similar for QuickStar , the option to have all only on the notification shade, 1/4 swipe and you get to see it all. I have everything turned off on my notification area on my homescree because I like a clean screen.
