No indicators of more notifications when grouped

When notifications are grouped by app (default and unchangeable) there is no way to know if there are more notifications than the one you see in the notification panel. Suppose I get 3 messages from a person, I am currently able to see only the last message, with no indication that there are 2 more messages. Same thing with email, I missed a few emails today due to this issue. Only one notification for the app shows up with no way to identify how many are pending for review.

I've noticed this as well, it looks like 1 had 1 email and opened the app to see 5 more
