Iโd like to propose the inclusion of an App Lock feature in the latest stable release of One UI. While the current security features are great, adding the ability to lock individual apps with a password or biometric authentication would offer an additional layer of privacy and protection for sensitive data. This feature would be especially useful for apps like messaging, banking, or photo galleries, where users might prefer extra security. In other brands, is quick easy and secure.
Not only would this help safeguard personal information, but it would also provide peace of mind, knowing that even if someone else gets access to your phone, they wonโt be able to open certain apps without proper authentication.
Why it makes sense:
Enhanced privacy: Protects apps that contain personal or sensitive information.
Ease of use: Simple, intuitive UI that works alongside the existing lock screen.
Customization: Users can choose which apps to lock, providing flexibility.
I believe this feature could significantly improve the user experience on Samsung devices, making them even more secure.
