Hello.
I’d like to suggest some enhancements for the Gallery app in One UI 7.0. While the app is already great for organizing and viewing photos, it could benefit from a few updates that would make it even more user-friendly and versatile.

One feature I’d love to see is the ability to import photos directly from Google Photos. This would make it easier for users transitioning from other platforms or cloud services, allowing for a seamless photo experience. Additionally, adding more powerful search and sorting options, such as album creation based on date or location, could further improve organization.

Potential improvements:

Import from Google Photos: Make it easier to transfer all photos when switching from other services.

Enhanced search and sorting: More ways to organize photos by location, date, or even content (e.g., pets, landscapes).

Better cloud integration: Synchronize photos across multiple devices, making them easier to access and organize.

These changes would make the Gallery app an even more powerful tool for managing photos and would provide a smoother experience for users with large photo collections.

What do you think about these ideas? Let me know your thoughts!

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your thoughtful suggestions.

Enhancing the Gallery app with features like Google Photos import, advanced search and sorting, and better cloud integration would definitely improve the overall user experience, especially for those managing large photo collections.

Your idea of seamless photo transfers from Google Photos would be especially helpful for users transitioning from other platforms, and additional sorting options based on date, location, or content could make organizing photos even more intuitive.

Samsung is always looking for ways to improve system apps, and user feedback like yours helps guide future updates. While we can’t confirm any changes at this time, we’ll make sure your suggestions are shared with the relevant teams for consideration.

If others in the community would find these features useful, feel free to share your thoughts! The more feedback we receive, the better we can understand what users want in One UI.

Thanks again for contributing to the discussion and helping improve the Galaxy experience.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team
