Beta 2 battery pill was longer than the new beta 3 model. My pers opinion is that the beta 2 version looked better because the new one doesn't align with Wi-Fi and network icons and look too chunky.

I prefer the battery icon on the beta 3. Either keep it this way or give is the option so people can choose.
