Features from the S25 Ultra Should Be Brought to Older Devices (S24 Ultra)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to bring up a few ideas that I believe would significantly enhance the user experience for owners of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and older devices.

Some of the new features available on the S25 Ultra, like the Audio Eraser, more apps for the now bar, Now Brief compatibility, etc. would be amazing additions for the S24 Ultra. Given that the S24 Ultra is only a year old, it seems like these features should be made available to it as well as some of the other recent devices. These kinds of updates could really improve the overall functionality and longevity of our devices, even if they aren't the latest models.

Additionally, it’s important to note that Samsung should consider keeping most, if not all AI features, free for users rather than charging for them starting in 2026. We’re already spending a significant amount on flagship devices, and it would be disappointing to see these advanced features locked behind a paywall.

If you agree with these points or would like to see more features brought to older devices, please feel free to share your thoughts and post about it! The more feedback we provide, the more likely Samsung will consider these updates for us.

I believe most all the software related features can and will come to the 24U, "eventually."
This is the issue though, as it appears Samsung is holding out so more people buy their latest device. If this is not the case, then I would like to hear from Samsung why these features have not already been ported to the 24U during beta testing? This is what beta testing is for, right?

BTW, the AI settings already has audio eraser listed. It is even switched on but not to be found in the Gallery app for use.

When you go to settings and Galaxy AI, you don't see it? 🤔

No, you're talking about the S24 Ultra, right? If so, then no, I don't see it. It could vary by region and carrier, though.
