I think phasing out the Edge Panel is a terrible idea. My suggestion is to not. I'm annoyed that the tool panel is gone. Now, I have to use a compass with ads? The Edge Panel has a calculator, apps, calendars, reminders, recent messages.... This was a very useful feature and made Samsung stand out. I want the Edge Panel fully back. I want to be able to download new panels. I want the compass back, I want the Quick Link Panel back. It feels like Samsung is losing any sense of individuality.
