In One UI 6.1 when a Bluetooth device was connected the Bluetooth connected icon used to be visible on the Status Bar in the home screen.

But now in One UI 7 Bluetooth connected icon is not visible on homescreen but only visible when the quick settings panel is pulled down.

This casues unnecessary confusion as to whether a Bluetooth device is connected or not since its icon is not visible on homescreen.

Please rectify this issue and make the Bluetooth connected icon visible on the homescreen status bar without having the need to pull down the quick settings panel.

Screenshot attached.

Thanks.

Some of us use our phones for function, not aesthetics. I noticed this change when I answered my phone and assumed that my BT headphones which were connected to my laptop, were also connected to my phone. I only realized once I had picked up the phone that they weren't connected.

This doesn't happen when the indicator is there, showing you the status of your phone on the status bar. Being able to glance at your phone and see whether or/not BT is on or connected to a device is very useful, given how most people use BT devices daily.

But we are losing functionality in the quest to please people who buy smartphones for looks and aesthetics.
