I do see that in the Wi-Fi settings under each device there's a auto connect toggle. I know that this is not something that has always been there and I am happy to see this . But what I would love to see is the same toggle applied for Bluetooth devices I'm constantly fighting with my Bluetooth device in my car because of auto connect for Android auto and regular Bluetooth. I know that there is media output but this does not stop auto connect for Bluetooth.. and the biggest problem is trying to use my Bluetooth headset while in the car driving but sometimes I have people in my car I do not want to hear my conversation and because of the auto connect I cannot do this because my phone is constantly connecting to my car. Bluetooth auto connect toggle would be great.... Or if there is any other method I don't know to help this problem please let me know....

There's third party apps that will do this. Giving you a range of priority connection options.
Also there's a button inside your phone app to switch devices with a single tap.

Driving with ear buds is not legal in many places. Even where it is (single ear), it's not considered safe so its unlikelya manufactureris going to apply any efforts to this end.
The simplest solution is to tell your caller you're not available, and wait until you can take the call in private.
