Currently the default swipe up is to open the app drawer, even when the app drawer icon is available on the home screen. This is very redundant. Please allow us to specify any app or action with gestures on the home screen.
This isn't what they mean. They want the ability to remap the swipe up action. For example, when using the setting for not having an apps screen (like on iOS), then that gesture instead opens finder. It would make sense to allow the gesture to open finder when the user has the Apps Screen icon enabled (or preferably, remap to any App Action or App, as they suggested)
