Recently I was going through a text conversation and trying to find a series of messages from a year ago. The only way to scroll in the messages app is to continuously flick the screen. For long conversations this can take a long time to scroll back through a conversation.
It would be nice if there was a scrolling bar on the side that you could press and move up or down to more quickly navigate long conversations. The UI has this when you go into your phone call history. I would like to to see the same thing applied to the messages app.
Additionally, when reviewing an old messages conversation, I noticed there are breaks in the conversation where a phone call was made. In order to confirm a call was made to that person I would have to open my call history and cross reference. It would be nice if there was an option in the messages app to show call history among the messages so you get a compiled history of your communication with a contact.
