Is this a thing the UI does? I feel like if i click away into something and want to go back to exactly what I was looking at before it all disappears. I kind of have to gamble on what post, video, or tab is more worth while to check out because I know everything else is just going to dissappear the second I want to revisit what I was previously looking at.

I wish there was a setting to have a more 'static' experience when loading content even if it uses a little more memory.

You might try Good Guardians app by Samsung.
Memory Guardian has a customization for background apps as shown in the screenshot.
See if this helps. 1735370375195.jpg

Also, check the battery optimization settings in the phone settings to see if it a certain app is set as optimized, restricted or unrestricted.

Restricted apps will quickly close in the background.

Lastly, if there is a particular app that you wish to remain open in the background indefinitely, try Microsoft Launcher. You can toggle an app to be locked :locked: open or not. It's a great third party launcher with lots of features that the stock Samsung launcher does not have. Otherwise, the options listed will do well for the issue described.

Hello,

We understand how frustrating it can be to lose track of what you were previously viewing when navigating through content. One UI is designed to balance performance, memory management, and user experience, but we recognize that situations like this can impact usability for some users.

Your suggestion for a more "static" experience, even if it requires using more memory, is insightful. While there isn't a specific setting for this at the moment, your feedback is valuable in helping us understand how users interact with the interface and where improvements could be made.

In the meantime, features like split-screen multitasking or app pairs might help you manage multiple tabs or apps more effectively. Additionally, using tools like bookmarks or saving content for later could ensure you donā€™t lose track of important posts or videos.

Weā€™ll make sure to share your feedback with our development team as they continue refining the One UI experience. Thank you for helping us create a more user-friendly interface.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team
