QuestionsSo I have a question maybe someone here can point me in the right direction. In the members app, I click on the beta banner. It brings me to the next window when you can select "oneui8 beta s23 series" and it says "open." I click on that, it says it's only for unlocked models, which I have a factory unlocked device, not locked to a carrier either. Sm918u1 model. After I click to join, I agree to terms. It then says if any problems or concerns it explains how to submit feedback. I've been waiting since yesterday, and my status still just shows "open" not "joined" or participating or anything, and I can't access the beta to download. Software update just keeps saying it's up to date with the latest oneui7 version, and doesn't download oneui8 beta. I submitted feedback, and I get a generic response back that says to submit feedback through beta app...but I cannot access beta for some reason. How can I submit feedback through the beta app, if I don't have access to it? Am I missing something?? I've used this exact phone to try the oneui7 beta in the past, and once I clicked to join the beta, the download was available within minutes. I'm really confused/frustrated trying to join the beta and can't seem to get any straight answers besides the generic response from feedback. Help?

QuestionsI figured out my problem, no help of Samsung. So I recently purchased an s25 ultra, that's using an esim. The sim card I had in my s23 ultra I removed due to it being deactivated...so I was using the s23 ultra on wifi only. I popped back in the deactivated SIM card, and even though it made no change to "cellular service" due to its deactivation, when I reclicked on joining the beta, it opened up the beta section as it should and let me download the beta software via software update. Maybe I should work for Samsung? Lol, just kidding. But let this be a teaching tool for anyone in my same shoes. Deactivated or not, you HAVE to have a SIM card installed on the device to be able to register and join the beta program. It still operates wifi only, but now it has the oneui8 beta software.

QuestionsWhen you click the joined beta program, click on check for software updates. What happens? What does it show? Make sure your phones not low on power, you have a sim installed, your preferences are set to download of Wi-Fi or data, all the usual stuff...it should let you though once status changes to joined. I do know they started pushing the stable build to s25 series today as well according to the internet.

QuestionsYeah, for some reason it beta won't trigger to download unless it sees a physical sim in the device; I think because the beta is for factory unlocked and carrier unlocked devices, and the update verifies that before allowing the download to happen.
