Save scroll captures in PNG

I configured my phone (Galaxy S24 Ultra) to save screenshots in PNG format (Settings » Advanced features » Screenshots and screen recordings » Format » PNG).

This works as expected for normal captures even after editions, however long captures ignore this setting and always save files in JPG.

PNG images can get quite big, but this is really nothing that this phone capable of 4K video cannot handle.

Please, consider fixing this issue or adding a separate setting to allow scroll captures in PNG.

@jbsilva If you want to get this in front of developers, submit a report using the Samsung Members app.

1. Open the Samsung Members app
2. Click on Support in lower right corner
3. Scroll and click on Send feedback
4. Click the paper airplane icon in lower right to start a report
