I have Samsung Smart Tag and it doesn't work unless I am near it. If I leave it somewhere and try to locat it I can not find it. When I look on the Smart Things App it will say the the Smart Tag is in the location it was in when I last checked. These do not seem to be great for tracking! I am dissatisfied with this product.
Do you know how smart tags work? It has to be connected to Samsung phone,it can be any Samsung phone. Once it is connected to Samsung phone you can get it's location. It doesn't have ability to connect to cell network.
It has tracked it before when I wasn't near it. I just doesn't do it all of the time. I thought that it was a tracking device that helps you find lost items.
