Admittedly, I look at the battery level a lot more than I worry about Wi-Fi or signal strength: having it more prominent and visible is helpful to me. Why Samsung thought it would be a good idea to replace the old battery icon with the pill, I don't know. I think someone at Samsung decided that because they CAN change it, they should. Wrong! Perhaps Samsung can allow us to select the battery icon we prefer in Settings.
