One ui 7 changes question for everyone

What does everyone think of with the one ui 7 changes. I personally hate you cant put the app drawer alphabetically in horizontal settings it really irritates me. I also don't like the split drop down menu for notifications and quick settings. And lastly don't like some of the new app icons some of the new icons look like a cheaply made product.

The app drawer is killing me. I have everything in the folders. So it was easy to put the folders in alphabetical order, but the apps in the folders aren't in order 🤯😡. Like, even if they were in most used, i would be okay with that, but UGHHHHHH

I agree im finding it taking longer to get to my apps that are farther down the alphabet when they were horizontal I remembered how many swipes I had to make to get to the correct page for the app and could access the app within 1 to 2 seconds easy not anymore... folders is a great idea I already have folders for Samsung and Google apps looks like you gave me the idea to make even more... thank you fir the suggestion

I put my folders on the home screen, maybe that helps? They stay there and easily accessible.

You can always slide your fingers on the right hand side for faster scrolling

You can open the Quick Settings and edit the "Notification and quick settings view" from Separate to Together. The quick settings will be right back like it used to be.

Yup. I like that we have a ton of options with One UI7. I personally like change because the last thing I want is to be bored with my $1400 phone. LoL

I love the UI and the changes made. I find it easier to get to apps that are further down the alphabet cuz 1 good swipe up vertically will get me to the bottom much faster than swiping horizontally through pages. You can put the Notification and Quick Settings back together as described by The_Chief. The icons you can change via themes. Samsung gives us options and coming from the world of rooting I'm happy they listened over the years. I don't need to root anymore because these phones are fully customizable.

Long press icons in folders and rearrange them how you want.
