I think all smartphones have hit their technological advancement ceiling. Phones haven't changed drastically in the last 10 years. We get better batteries and camera pixels. That's about it.

Do we get better batteries though? They can improve the display and pixel density imo. The cameras could use better snappier response times.

5000mAh battery is fine, considering the advances in power efficiency. The new SoCs, based on a 3nm process, claim almost 50% performance increase with the same battery power! Heck, my S24 Ultra lasts all day as it is; and sits on a wireless charger while I'm asleep. If I'm going to travel and expect to go more than a couple of days without charging, I can pack a power bank or turn on battery saving mode.
