Device name changing to default

So when I updated to 8.5, I noticed my device name was set back to "Galaxy S25 Ultra" no biggie, I changed it back to what I had before the update Well a couple days went by and it changed back to "Galaxy S25 Ultra". I changed it back to my Name, and again after a couple days it changed back to Galaxy S25 Ultra again... nothing major but just wanted to put it out there incase it needs fixing cause it wont stay. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I just checked my device name and i have the same thing going on as you. I'll report, you should too if you haven't already.

Wow I didn't even notice that but if it's going to keep changing back by itself then I'll just leave it as it is for now

I must be in the minority as my phone name has not changed.

That's not a thing I would have ever noticed!

So mine changes only on other devices meaning it shows as "Galaxy S25 Ultra" on my truck's headunit but remains under the name I gave it on my device

Thats how I noticed the change cause my head unit kept showing Galaxy s25 ultra and I was like 👀

Mine hasn't reverted back to the default since I switched it back to my custom name. That was only 2 days ago when you first pointed this out but I'll keep checking.
