I'm glad to see they finally added call recording for the usa I had a third party app that kinda stunk and I lost it and can no longer find it to re download so to have that option as I record all my calls when calling corporations and Dr's offices. Now google needs to add it into their phone app so I can switch back from Samsung phones app.

Google won't ever add it back in the US because it's too difficult to add a confirmation prompt that you can legally record calls in your state. CA (and a few other states) are 2-party consent states while the majority are 1-party. Too difficult to add so Google bans it for the entire country.

I'm honestly surprised Samsung added it back since they followed Google's lead. I still think I'll stay with my 3rd party phone app that can record calls.

Yea with the legality googles facing in the USA I can see call recording isn't a priority to them due to legal ramifications. I was also surprised to get it from samsung. I mean how long has the us been waiting for samaung getting approval for blood pressure mo nicotine on the watches? I had to manually i stall non us apps to get the blood pressure monitoring on my phone and watch.
