The app drawer to be sorted alphabetically with horizontal scroll also know as the way things have been for over a dozen years is still broken at beta 3.
Is this the final design they are pushing to us? Can Samsung confirm so I can exit the beta, downgrade and get my phone back with good lock or is this going to get fixed?
Why only horizontal scroll in a "custom" sort which is no sort, honestly.
Regarding the app drawer sorting feature (horizontal / alphabetical) we acknowledge that the current implementation may not meet expectations. Our team is aware of these limitations and working diligently to improve the overall user experience.
At present, we cannot definitively confirm whether this design will remain unchanged beyond Beta 3. However, please keep in mind that Beta serves as testing phases where changes occur frequently based on user feedback and performance metrics.
If you wish to leave the Beta program, you certainly have the option!
Downgrading to stable release version allows access to GoodLock modules again until new developments emerge.

Although I liked the vertical app drawer back in the early days of Android, I got used to the horizontal scroll. It would be great for One UI 7 to give users the choice.
That's my complaint. They didn't add an option, they removed a function. They force us to use another home launcher that provides the option they removed, like Nova Launcher, when they could just bake the function in so we didn't need 3rd party apps just to make the phone run the way we want. When are they going to learn that we aren't apple users, we want CHOICES and to make our phone, well, ours
