App's screen time out

I think what op is talking about and ive noticed this too, when watching a video from say the gallery, the screen will time out and go dark during play. Ive also noticed the browser doing the same when watching video.

But he is saying it doesn't turn off the screen? I think this is two separate issues

For example when I'm playing a game, or watching an Instagram reel and I leave the room for a minute or 2 the screen still stays on without user interaction

Hi, when I open the Gallery just last open the 2 mins that I choose in the settings of the display, the same with the others apps...but I put a 10min in the apps screen time out, the new module of the Good Guardians
