I think the S24 Ultra isn't selling as they expected. The intent is to prolong the stable update to get more people to either upgrade, or to switch completely, but for us S24 Ultra owners I personally dont think its really worth the upgrade to the S25 Ultra especially after the stable version is released. I dont think the extended battery life is really that beneficial especially with magsafe chargers being an option. Your regular daily activity won't change enough to be noticeable, and once you put a case on how much of a difference will it really be visually. I think bench test numbers dont really matter to the daily user. JUST MY OPINION.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s always great to hear different viewpoints on upgrade decisions and software rollout strategies.

The timing of the stable One UI 7 release is primarily focused on ensuring the best possible experience for S24 series users. Extensive testing helps refine optimizations, address feedback, and ensure a smooth transition before rolling it out globally. While upgrade cycles and sales trends are always a topic of discussion, Samsung’s goal remains to enhance the longevity and performance of existing devices alongside launching new ones.

As for the S25 Ultra, you raise some valid points—upgrading is always a personal choice based on what features matter most to each user. Whether it’s battery life improvements, hardware refinements, or other enhancements, it ultimately depends on individual needs and preferences.

We appreciate the discussion and encourage more users to share their thoughts. If you have any feedback on the current beta experience or suggestions for future updates, feel free to contribute—we always value community input!

Best regards,
One UI Beta Team
