My Galaxy Tab S9 currently on One UI 7 has an update available for One UI 8. If anyone has updated any tablet (especially Tab S9) from One UI 7 to One UI 8, are apps inside the secure folder able to open and save files that are also in the secure folder?
My S23 has a bug after the One UI 8 update where when an app inside the secure folder tries to open or save a file, the file picker only sees files that are outside the secure folder and not in the secure folder. Hence, the app (for example keepass2android) in the secure folder requires the data files to exist outside the secure folder to be able to read/write to in. Kind of defeats the purpose of using a secure folder if sensitive data like a password database needs to be stored outside the secure folder. Others have reported the same issue on other phones but I don't see anything listed for the tablets. Hope one of you can check and post.
