Developer Options: Default USB Configuration "Transferring Files" option is enabled.
From the phone keypad, dialed x#0808# which launches USB settings, "MTP +ADB" is enabled.
Windows Driver v1.7.61 (latest) is installed in both Windows 10 and 11.
Ubuntu Linux does not recognize the device after plugged in.
VMWare does not recognize the device after plugged in.
Tried all 2.0 and 3.0 ports on my PC.
Tried the Samsung supplied cable and a few other USB-C cables.
Windows 10, 11 and Linux all software is updated to latest.
S24 Ultra latest One UI and all software / security patches are installed as of 4/26/2024.
Basically, no operating system will recognize my S24 Ultra. No issues what so ever with my S23 Ultra, I have not shipped the trade-in. Need the phone for personal use and development at work. I'm developing and testing mobile app for both Android and IOS. The Windows 10, 11 and Linux systems that I use at home also have this issue with the S24 Ultra.
I'm not what else I can do to troubleshoot. I would love to include logs from logcat, but the devices isn't recognized so ADB can't authorize the device.
Does anyone else have this problem? If so what was your resolution?
