I have a brand new Samsung washer and dryer. The dryer has no light? I’ve tested the switch with the door open but get nothing. The units are 4 days old. (They also won’t “register” after WiFi setup through SmartThings which is incredibly annoying - the final setup step (registering the device) and I receive an error).
Specific Samsung dryers do not have a dryer light, yours is probably one of them, however, like @realaud said, if your user manual says you have one, and it's not coming on, the bulb may be burnt out.
