I was told on the Home Depot website to join the community to discuss my issue with my dryer. I bought the dryer July 6 of 2024 and I maybe have used the dryer 10 times because I don’t live in the house where the dryer is located yet and as of August 14 of 2025 it’s already not working. it comes on for 10 seconds, and then flashes HC There is no lint stuck anywhere and it still looks shiny and brand new my reference number for this is 1150406723
Hi @Tjkisgma! We apologize for the delay. The HC error indicates that there is a heating error. We suggest having your vents and the lint screen for clogs. That is the most common culprit. If the vents and screens are clear, a technician may be needed for service.
