WHERE'S APP PROTECTION IN DEVICE CARE ON MY TAB S8 ULTRA & MY TAB S9 ULTRA GONE??
MY TAB S4, TAB S6, TAB S7 & TAB S7 PLUS ALL STILL HAVE IT!! This BETTER NOT be some kind of ploy to make me upgrade! TELL YOU RN I WON'T!
Because:
1. NO MORE SD Chipset
2. NO MORE PROPER S PEN, YOU know the one You're FAMOUS FOR! WITH BT!!
WITH BLUETOOTH!
3. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS BOOKCOVER KEYBOARD!
4. NO MORE MOUNTING PLACE FOR THE S PEN!

The Problem is with THE ULTRA! Both my Tab S8 Ultra & Tab S9 Ultra DO NOT SUPPORT APP PROTECTION ANYMORE! It's like Samsung DOWNGRADED THEM to a LOCKED VERSION AND FORGOT TO TELL ANYONE!! THANKS FOR RESPONDING, USEFUL INFO!

I never noticed before, but mine isn't there either under "device care," and I'm using my Tab S9. Very strange.

With all respect the MediaTek Dimensity SoC are great chips. They benchmark almost as high as Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC for a lot less money. To tell the honest truth, IMO they are more power efficient than Snapdragon.

Snapdragon does too much chasing Apple silicon for benchmarks.

For my needs, a MediaTek SOC will be plenty.
