Unable to unlock secure folder

As you probably all know after each restart we have to re-enter a pin or passcode in order to access the secure folder.

Well as of recently I tried to get into my secure folder and it says: enter pin. But when I tab on the box to enter my pin I was expecting the keypad to pop up...but it doesn't. That means I am unable to enter my secure folder.

Hopefully somebody can provide me with a solution? 

To be obvious: I have not forgotten my pin. And I tried clearing cache already. Please help.

It sounds like a keyboard problem, change keyboards and see what happens.

One Ui 7 is having issues with lock out, if you upgraded that could be the issue.

Except it is One UI 6.1.1.... haven't done anything to it 😞 Didn't even change keyboards. But will try that solution.

Thanks for the tip to change keyboards...I always use Gboard, but apparently something updated there to mess things up. Switching to Samsung keyboard solved it. Again thanks!
