TabletsHi
I have problem with my new A9+
Obviously, it is a feature, that when you touch, the initial movement of your finger is not tracked and after a short movement, tracking begins with a jump to the actual position. For scrolling, it's probably the intended behavior, but for my use case, fine tuning of controllers, it's a disaster.
Is it somehow possible to turn this off? Otherwise I have to return the tablet. My ten years old galaxy tab didn't have this issue.

TabletsThat's odd that your getting a Touch delay on your A9+ I only say that because I don't have that effect on my A9+. I don't know of any settings that would enable or disable touch delay. I would suggest having it checked out to see what could be causing this issue for you

TabletsThanks for your reply.
It's not really a delay, it's more like a protection, that a small initial movement doesn't have an effect and only when it's sure you want to move, it's reported. After it's gone over this threshold, you can do fine adjustments without a problem.
I checked it with a touch testing app. There you see, after the initial touch, you can move the finger about a millimeter and the point doesn't move. When you go further, it jumps to that position and from then on it moves normally.
I hope, this is clear enough...

TabletsThat's indeed strange. Would be great, if you can test this with this app:

TabletsThanks. So we are really talking about the same thing, you put the finger on the screen, for a moment you just hold it, then you do tiny movements. The point doesn't move, as soon as you move the finger more then around a mm, it starts moving? You don't have that?
BTW, your still on android 13? I have android 14 and one ui 6.1

TabletsHmm, I'm out of ideas. For me, it's clearly a software issue, so what could be different?

TabletsI'm thinking it's a display issue that's why I recommended having it checked at a service center to see what the issue could be since they are no setting that I know of that would cause it
