Tablet from TV and You program battery swelling

The tablet i had gotten about two years ago has recently started to have the battery swell up on me also causing screen issues as well. I've contacted Samsung both via phone support and email, phone support has gotten me nowhere as the team seems to not have a clue about the TV and YOU program which now has lead me to having this fire hazard in my home with no real resolution as I want it be be replaced but also don't want to loose out on the points I earn. Me emailing the tv and you support team also seems to get nowhere as I've been left on read since Saturday... this is highly unacceptable and would like immediate help on this matter.

This seems like the answer from any rep none are sure or even aware of the program not even corporate im on the phone with meanwhile it was advertised in this members app in a banner ad and thats how I even got into it

The program is still active and they will respond to your emails. Unfortunately, they don't have a direct phone number. One of my emails to them was sent in September, and I didn't receive a response for a period of time.

Hello, I am sorry that you are having issues with your tablet from the Samsung TV and its program. The first thing you need to do is unplug it from any power source. Then, please take pictures of the tablet showing the battery swelling, and if possible, please write down the serial number, make, and model. Then, please send an email to this address:

The Samsung TV and You Support team is very small and sometimes they don't always reply immediately, but they will. I personally had issues with a tablet that had exactly the same problem as you.

Please send them an email with all of your details, including the email address that you use.

You should receive a reply from them in a few days, and they will help with obtaining a replacement tablet.

Please note that since your battery is showing internal damage, it's not safe to ship it back to them! Make sure you point that out in your email to them.

That's not true. The issue with the Galaxy Ring is different from the tablet. The Samsung TV and You team is small, and they primarily deal with software problems on the kiosk system. They don't have any ability to perform hardware repairs. Samsung values all customers' issues.

When you sent them the email, did you include pictures of the battery swelling? Depending on how bad the damage is, you may need to ship back the old tablet. The tablet was sent to you by them for free, and they probably want to confirm that you aren't using it for any other purposes. This is why they require you to send them the serial number of the damaged tablet. Unfortunately, there are people who take advantage of the free tablets and never use them as intended.
