TabletsLast night my tablet was updated to the new version succcessfully. The navigation seems to be snappier, but I don't see any change in my Home Screen. No new icons, colors, etc. I should mention that the notification area and control panel is displayed differently (no big deal there). The other so-called feature upgrades I guess are deep within the OS and are not visual changes. I don't get all the fuss or need for this change.

TabletsThe fuss, for some people, is that they just don't like change (or, as they call it, forced updates) - such as the change to secure folder security. No, there were no visual changes to the icons or home screen. Some widgets are different and, as you saw, the notification bubbles are different. Most of the major visual changes were made in OneUI7. Some people just really like to complain. I haven't done a cross section analysis of those who bellowed at the visual changes in OneUI 7 to those who are complaining about the fact that there is nothing really new in the 8.0 update, but I suspect there are quite a few.
