Samsung tablet cover with keyboard for s9plus difficult to type

I tried the Samsung tablet cover with keyboard sm810 with my new Samsung tablets9 plus but found it excessively difficult to type easily. I had to depress each key with some force to generate a letter. Is there a sensitivity adjustment somewhere to make it easier?

I both keyboard covers, slim and regular, neither are experiencing your issue. You might have a defective unit, I would reach out to Samsung to address this issue.

There is no sensitivity setting per se but under Settings->Accessibility->Interraction and Dexteriety-> there are multiple settings like Tap Duration, Slow Keys and Bounce Keys that affect the typing.  If it is indeed a pressure sensitivity issue I'd open a warranty ticket and get it replaced.

I returned it as I couldnt find a solutionActally I returned two and am afrais to order a third though I would love to have it.. I would reorder it if  the keys would respond normally. I saw a person You Tube typing on it with no problem so there must be a way,but I literally had to press the key had to get it to respond

If you want the keyboard, one or more of the settings I posted above should work. 

The alternative is that there's something wrong with your tablet. 

If you get the keyboard, the first thing I would do is boot to Safe Mode.  If that doesn't fix it then reboot back to normal mode and I would go to Settings->General Management->Reset->Reset->Reset All Settings which will return the tablet Settings to Factory Default

Bill,I would rather order this on from Samsung since you know I have had an issue but its not the tablet,its the keyboard assoviated with the cover.

I dont want to adjust the tablet sewnsitivity but the samsung 810 keyboard and cover. I would even buy it used if it worked

The likely hood of having two bad keyboards is slim... the keyboards work.  Changing the settings I reference will only affect the typing. 

The Suggestion to boot to Safe Mode is to determine if an app you've installed is causing this or if there is a setting causing this.

 @Members_bx40z41 do you have a link to the keyboard you're using?  SM-810 is not a keyboard model number that I know of.

SORRY. The Samsung keyboard and cover is model dx815.I received another keyboard from Samsung but began having issue. I immediately call support and specifically asked for someone who understood the functionality of the keyboard not someone who had to look it up.

I was on hold for 20 minutes, then my call was dropped, so I call back. we couldn't get the keyboard to pair with the s9 plus tablet. Now that was a new issue because the two Samsung dx815 keyboards I tried from amazon would pair easily, I just couldn't get the keys to respond normally so I returned that keyboard back to Samsung.

Now, this will sound like a gripe but it isn't as I have the highest respect for techs who solve problems everyday but I would ask Samsung not to produce a product that no one can explain how to use or at the very least have it come with a manual

My galaxy tablet touch keyboard seems to be off. I can tap V and get C or B. And im a very good typist. Is there a way to calibrate?
