Samsung S9 FE fingerprint sensor not working

Imma ask question here because samsung PH community cant help me, no one is answering. LMAO

Just bought my tablet around April 2024.

Suddenly my tablet's fingerprint sensor not working

Did a hard reset, cleared the app cache, data of biometrics app, knox apps

Accessibility reset, settings reset, update

Sometimes it comes back to normal, then i notice that when i put back the samsung tab case freebie, it will not work again.

When it works, fingerprint sensor registers my new fingerprint like normal. What's happening?

Won't work unless near the case? Sounds like it's a pressure issue. Strange

UPDATE: Even if the case is there, fingerprint sensor still says "sensor not working"
 then later on, it will work again, im so lost!

Tried the *#0*# and *#2663*# thing. fingerprint sensor says PASS

So, the case is interfering with the sensor?  You said it seems to work until you put it back in the case.  Have you thought about either leaving it out of the case or trying another case?

for now, even if the case is on or not, the fingerprint sensor  still acting like weird, after i restart, or clear cache, clear everything, it will be back to normal, it reads my fingerprint as normal, then after how many hours, it will say sensor not working again. weird 😞

I am monitoring the sensor via dial pad *#0*# then im seeing the fingerprint sensor as PASS.. it means its okay, then later on, it will become N/A then itll be back to normal again

Try booting to Safe Mode and checking it.
