Samsung Dex automatically activates

Samsung Dex automatically turning on on my s10 fe is why I'm not updating my s25u to one ui 8 . I get you got a deal with Google to help them make them build their Dex but that doesn't mean you force those who are not using Dex to use it to their annoyance and inconvenience. I looked at settings to find how to turn off Samsung Dex automatically activating only to find out i can't. Seemed to be a great update until this invasive automatically Samsung Dex started pop-ups.

I just had the same issue. Add the DEX quick toggle to the notification panel. Then go to DEX settings and change it to "switch to desktop workspace". Then the button will work to get you out of DEX mode.

I always kept Dex in tool bar i use it 1% of time . Dex setting no longer exist Samsung cut deal with Google to help Google develop/use Samsung Dex and this is probably a way to force wider usage of Samsung Dex . ANOTHER ISSUE IS : when i do use the suggestion you mentioned turn off Dex using "quick panel button 'Dex' " it closes the application that i just opened. I thinking turning off popup windows is best option to nerf Dex automatic turn on new feature.

I need Dex off. Its interfering with my apps and is extremely annoying. None of the suggestions work.

Lol bro for 1 they literally took Dex mode out of settings so we can't disabled it . For 2 it stopped popping up randomly so often now only bothers me certain apps . 3. The deal made with Google is to blame i remember Google just paid huge deal for Samsung Dex to train the Google version and share related data. So the few people like us complaining ain't enough to stop big Google bucks.
