I can find no way to set my tablet up as a wi-fi hotspot for another device to connect to it.

Is there a way?

@ILANE Sorry but that is not possible. You could use Bluetooth tethering.

LTE doesn't matter here. If it has hotspot capability then its found in Android connection settings. If there's nothing there then it probably just can't do it.

Virtually no recently released WiFi only android device has Hotspot capability. That feature s only available in Tablets which have a mobile radio.

You can usually do Bluetooth, USB or ethernet tethering if you want to share your mobile date Internet connection.
