I upgraded recently from Galaxy  S9FE  Model SM-X510 to  a new Galaxy Tab S10+. It arrived yesterday and is asking for a PIN. Talking about having a bad Day. Amazon could not help me. I planning to return it.

What options does the Community suggest. Thank you for your kind attention.

Hi there and welcome to the community! As the others have said, you will need to return it and exchange it for a different one as that one is used. It's possible it never got sorted in the proper bin as it's a return. New tablets don't ask for PINs. You could also do a factory reset of the device but I know personally, I'd rather have a brand new one that wasn't used previously. If you'd like to reset it, follow the steps below:

1. Turn power off
2. Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Power/Side and Volume Up buttons simultaneously. Release the Power/Side button when the Samsung logo appears, but continue holding the Volume Up button until the Android Recovery screen appears
3. Navigate to Wipe Data/Factory Reset:  Use the Volume buttons to select "Yes" to confirm you want to erase all data, and the press the Power/Side button
5. Reboot the System: Once the factory reset is complete, select "Reboot system now" to restart the tablet

@Members_G4f2bka It sounds like you received a used device. A new device does not ask for a PIN out of the box. I would return it for a refund.

I'd recommend returning the device for a refund also as a PIN indicates the device has been set up already.
