Just got my Tab S9 and I have wifi 6E at home however my tablet will not stay connected to it. It will only show connected as Wifi 6. I have a Galaxy book that does as well as an S23 Ultra that also stays connected to the 6E band with no problems. I have restarted the tablet, I have deleted then reconnected to the Wifi, I have turned off the bluetooth and all with no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you power cycle the router? Delete the connection on the tablet and power cycle the router and then try again.

That was one of the first things that I did and I was hoping that would work but no luck.

I contacted the router OEM and spoke with them on this issue. Their suggestion was to change the wifi channels and while this seemed to work for a few minutes, what it did was then cause my phone and laptop to no longer connect to the 6Ghz network.

Sorry to hear that is happening to you as well but I am glad to know that I am not the only one. It sounds like it is a hardware issue that Samsung needs to fix through a firmware update.

Can confirm, tab s9 11in struggles with wifi 6e. Frequent "no connection", then switches back to wifi 5ghz.

Latest Aug security patch software.

The odd time it works for a bit. My galaxy s23 phone has less frequent issues on wifi 6e.

Same issue with Tab S9. Also with Tab S9 Ultra but not as frequently. My S22+ phone seems fine.

I have an S23 Ultra that for the most part is fine, although it drops as expected when too far from the router.

Distance doesnt matter on the Tab S9 for me. Only activity. If i connect and do nothing, it'll hold. As soon as I try to load a website or check mail, 50% of the time, network drops. Only with 6e.
