TabletsJust got my Tab S9 and I have wifi 6E at home however my tablet will not stay connected to it. It will only show connected as Wifi 6. I have a Galaxy book that does as well as an S23 Ultra that also stays connected to the 6E band with no problems. I have restarted the tablet, I have deleted then reconnected to the Wifi, I have turned off the bluetooth and all with no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

TabletsLooks like you never got an answer on your S9. I ended up getting an IPad Pro, which is wifi 6e compatible and it connects perfectly. It's not a router issue as some have suggested, since other devices that are 6e compatible would have issues too. This is a Samsung issue, and there is no fix. After hours with Samsung Support, they basically told me that there is nothing they can do. I wouldn't have an issue if it was a $250 tablet. But these are top of the line products that should not have issues like this.

TabletsTry Settings>General management>Reset>Reset network settings. This will clear all prior Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices/settings.

TabletsI tried what you suggested and no luck. It would connect to the Wifi 6E then revert back to wifi 6 or would just flat out drop the connection. Thank you for your suggestion as I appreciate the help.

TabletsNot an unusual issue. Contact the router OEM and check for a firmware update. If there isn't one submit an error report to both the Router OEM and Samsung. This has been corrected in the past by router firmware updates.
To submit an error report to Samsung, Reproduce the issue and then open the Samsung Members app, click on Support (Lower right)->Feedback->Send Error Report, Remember to check on "Send System Data Log"

TabletsI checked and there isn't a router firmware update so I will go ahead and contact both the router OEM and send a report to Samsung. I was thinking that perhaps I had a defective unit and I was thinking about asking for a replacement.

TabletsI am just in a weird spot because a part of me wants to get another tablet to see if that truly solves the issue or just wait for an update. It's just odd though because my S23 Ultra and my new Galaxy Book all work just fine.
