TabletsI sent my S9 into warranty repair for a bad screen, not noticing a hard to see crack. The S9 was just approaching warranty expiration and the repair department said that the S9 could not be fixed under warranty, never telling me it was a cracked screen. They said they would fix it for around $300, but I disputed it and they sent it back to me unrepaired. I had the S9 in a protective case with a cover over the screen. I think the S9 has a manufactures defect with the screen and should have been replaced under the warranty. This has upset me and I have been purchasing Samsung products for many years. I will consider in the future whether I should purchase another Samsung product.

Cracked screens are virtually Never covered by the basic warranty as they are considered damage caused by impact of some kind.
Consider installing a ballistic glass screen protector which make the crack even less noticeable and also slow/stop the spread of the crack.

TabletsYes, three times and they never definitively gave me an answer. They just sent me the S9 back with a document giving multiple options for the non-repair. The crack is barely visible and to me looks like a manufacturing defect in the screen because of the case I had it in. That is my opinion and unfortunately, they felt differently.

TabletsUnfortunately it is cost prohibited even if I replace the screen or can even find the parts. The S9 will become cannon fodder. Very disappointed
