The close all button in the task manager sits right under the thumb results in accidentally closing all apps. I have accidentally closed fully filled form several time when switching between apps to find information. It should be located at the top as shown in the image.

Also closing all your apps over and over again is not great for battery life as it starts over the task over and over again. So it should be relocated to discourage unnecessary closing everything all the time.

To move it on top would be as hard as the search bar on top. A one-hand-operation total killer. It wouldn't make sense at all.

The point is to move it out of neutral position where thumb sits. There have been many occasions when I accidentally hit close all with all the forms filled out when I was switching apps to find information. And I am not alone. Go to google search for this issue, and you'll find many.

So, for better user experience, it should be moved out of this location. Only cheap Chinese brands who can't handle proper memory management and their devices start to lag after opening multiple app will reccomened users to close everything all the time.

The point is that it's your problem, not Samsung. You act like apps just close by themselves. Also, another year that you don't get what you want. Since you have so many brands of phones at the same time, according to you, you should stop :stop_sign: buying a phone that you have been buying for about 7 to 8 years now. So you should consider maybe stopping to continuing to buy the most recent model and buy a model you aren't going to complain about although I think you would complain no matter what. I included a link to a reputable sourc/company saying it. Unlike you did so since the majority of people like it why change it? Lol. Fix it Jesus

Oh, no! No! This would be really annoying and contrary to what Samsung was looking for when placing the search bar at the bottom too. I have NEVER had this problem.

Force closing apps all the time should be discouraged. So there is no need to place it right under the thumb.

"Closing apps on your phone does not save battery life and may actually harm it. Apps on iOS and Android are typically suspended in the background, consuming minimal power. Force-closing them requires more energy to reopen than simply resuming them from a suspended state, leading to increased battery drain."

You can tap keep open if you want to so I don't understand why it's a problem. Most people don't want apps they aren't using running all the time in the background and I have no idea where you came up with it hurt to close them. And it's not force closing because you have to go into the app info to force close. I truly don't understand why some people just make up things that aren't true and making it sound worse than it is. If I don't want an app to be closed I tap it to keep it open. Simple.

And truly how much does it hurt the battery if they are consuming more power being open? I just don't understand where you are getting all this false information and trying to spin it and using incorrect terms. You really think it affects battery life significantly to not let an app run in the background and reopen it when you need it? Wow, like seriously. Make it make sense

Where did you get this info?

See how easy it is to provide a link to whatever you are complaining about.......................... You just don't want to accept that you are 1 of the very few customers who have this issue so they should change it for a small group of people? Lol yeah. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result and you hit that square on the head. Smh
