Why are the quick glance icons so big?

Time, notification icons, and battery icon are comically huge. Samsung please dial the size back a bit.

No they are bigger. But I want the pre-UI 7 icon option to be a choice. It's still hard to read because of contrast clash.

What is huge to you, is small to most of Samsung's user base. Samsung's user base tends to skew older, as evident from the fact the 90% of people under 35 have iPhones.
