Please make the visual voicemail a part of the phone app as a tab at the bottom like the contacts and keypad tabs. The visual voicemail should just be included as part of the phone app just like it is on the Google Pixel and iPhone phone apps. There is no need for the visual voicemail app to be a separate app. I know that some people have a button for visual voicemail in different countries and regions but this still isn't as cohesive as just making it a tab in the phone app itself. Thanks.

This is something that has always bothered me. It's a native experience in Android, but it seems to be purposely disabled in the Samsung Dialer. The recents tab does show voicemails there, but you can't filter for them. The shortcut calls instead of showing visual voicemail.

Yeah it's almost 2025 and Samsung still haven't addressed this.

As someone who switched from Apple to Samsung recently, I must say I'm very agitated by this very issue all the time

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding Visual Voicemail (VVM) integration into the phone app. Youā€™ve raised a valid point about streamlining the user experience, and I completely understand how having VVM as a tab within the phone appā€”like on Pixel and iPhone devicesā€”could enhance usability and make things more cohesive.

The current implementation of VVM varies because network carriers, such as T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T, often provide their own VVM services. These carriers manage VVM separately as part of their business model, which is why itā€™s offered as a standalone feature or app in many cases. This approach allows carriers to maintain control over their voicemail services and offer additional features based on regional requirements or customer plans.

That said, your suggestion for integrating VVM directly into the phone app is certainly a great idea and would simplify access while providing a unified experience for users. This feedback is valuable, and Iā€™ll make sure it is shared with the relevant teams for consideration.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. Please feel free to reach out with any other suggestions to improve the user experience!

Regards,

One UI Beta Team

Thank you, we've been asking for this since the first one, UI, so it would be great to see it implemented into the app natively even if the carriers still provide their own separate experiences. Thanks for hearing our voices!
