You're not alone—several users have reported similar experiences where once a Live Score (Now Bar) notification is dismissed, it's difficult or impossible to bring it back unless a new event starts or the Google app pushes a fresh update.
At the moment, there’s no manual “pin” or restore option for the Now Bar once dismissed. However, your suggestion to add this functionality is valuable, and we'll be sharing this feedback with the relevant team.
In the meantime, here's what you can try:
Open the Google app > Search "your team" to trigger a new live card.
Make sure Sports notifications are ON in both the Google app and Now Bar settings.
You can also try clearing the Google app cache and restarting the device to refresh the feed.
