I want the touch macro to wake the screen, keep it on, and be able to run, even if it's locked. I was on a subreddit where two users said they felt like having to open the phone makes it useless. I wouldn't say that, but it did create a problem for this one user who wanted to be able to automatically clock out from work online.
It would run the touch macro, but no one could interact with the screen, except for pausing or stopping the macro. If it were stopped, then the phone would go back to the lock screen. I get that with some touch macros, it risks potentially exposing information, but I think we should have the right to make that choice for ourselves. Or make it work with the screen off, if that's possible.
Why not create a routine that can be saved as shortcut to the lock screen that can perform the same function? Technically it already exists and I think Samsung has already provided that avenue in "Modes and routines" without having to alter lock screen credential settings to allow one or more macros function.
If the phone is locked, you have to unlock it to run the macro. Even if you have it set to Bixby working while locked. If you make a routine asking Bixby to open Chrome, it will still make you unlock the phone. The customer wants it to be completely automatic. With my clock out, it works because it's a phone call, but opening a site it still has to be unlocked.
So, what he wants is a routine that would be:
If Specific time: 5:00pm Then Ask Bixby to open Chrome Run touch macro. I'm guessing the login is done by tapping to autofill the email and password.
