Tap to pay does not work with Google Pay.

Tap to pay from any screen stopped working with Google pay. In One UI 6, we can tap from any screen to pay at terminal. Now with one UI 7, i have to open Google pay app to make a payment.

Might just be because of the Beta usually Google Pay doesn't work during the Beta at all I would still report it

Samsung pay dont work during beta due to unofficial statuses. Its in the disclaimer when you joined beta. 🖖🏻

Since the beta is considered an unofficial version, most pay apps won't work with digital payments.

Google Wallet works fine. GPay is usually locked out whenever you enter a One UI Beta.

I understand the nature of beta and pay apps not working. But in this case, the Gpay works, but only with app open. Ideally, as long as your phone is unlocked, you should be able to tap and pay from any app.

Google pay has work perfectly fine on my 24 ultra with the beta. I'm guessing this is the case because android 15 is already out and has all of the proper certificates

Thank you very much for your feedback on Google Pay.

Certain apps are not compatible with V OS at the moment (including Zoom, Payment apps, Google Message, GoodLock themes…etc) and you may experience discrepancy on using these apps.

However, you will soon be able to use the apps normally once the official software is released.
