Hello everyone,

 I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss suggestions, minor bugs, and potential additions for One UI 7.

SUGGESTIONS:

• Live notifications should be movable

• More newer and better fingerprint unlock animations(currently, it's a spiral animation)

• Fonts from different platforms, Google, and downloaded fonts

•Depth effect to the Clock Lockscreen

• More dynamic blur/glassy look to One UI for a modern and sleek appearance

• More apps compatible with live notifications

• Customizable app icons with animated effects

• Instead of a cutout on the top of the quick panel when scrolled down, add a similar effect from the Apps Screen's search bar(Alphabetical order)

• More advanced automatic status bar color adjustment (The status bar should remain visible.)

As you can see, only the Live Notification is visible, but the Status Bar is not.

• Pay close attention to small areas in the Ui and make animations to them to make the OneUi feel smooth and premium

• Make the keyboard cursor movement smoother; it currently moves with each letter

• Add stacked notifications to the lock screen (currently notifications are separated)

• An Offline Mode that could save maps, articles, and parts of apps if it’s possible

•Universal Object Recognition: Point your phone at anything, and it tells you what it is, where it comes from, and even how to use it

• Sound transitions

• Instead of the basic launching transition in the expanded live notification, it could expand from the live notification until it is fully expanded

• Animation for the Music Now Bar(Click>Hold for some seconds)

 In addition, I have encountered a few minor bugs and would appreciate it if they could be fixed.

BUGS:

• The rapid stutter when the live music is shrunken

• The stutter and delay(Could be Lag) in certain apps and normal use

• Overheating issues during normal use

• When music is playing on the Now Bar and when it's clicked, then rapidly swipe away(to exit), the cover bugs on the screen for a few moments

• When a landscape app is exited, the wallpaper(Could be caused by the Live wallpaper) is in landscape mode also for a few moments then it goes back to normal

• Fingerprint overlapping notifications

•Circle to Search issue (CTS): Recent apps > CTS > Recent, and so on

NEW LOOKS/REVAMPS:

• Keyboard redesign

• Implement a light mode option for image and video editing within the Gallery application

• Music app Ui redesign

• Add a moving gradient color to the expanded Now Bar Music

• Dock on Homescreen

• More Notification pop-up style animations

• Making the calculator more visually appealing and adding more features.

• New-looking quick share UI

OVERALL UI CHANGES:

•More 3D Depth in the UI: Adding subtle 3D effects to things like folders, widgets, and menus could make the UI feel more immersive

• Neumorphism or Claymorphism Elements: These design styles can make the UI look better and more modern.

•A Personalized Quick Settings: Instead of just having the same quick panel, you could create your own custom quick settings panel with the things you use most

•Interactive Home Screen: More widgets that allow for interaction without opening the app itself. For example, a music widget that allows you to change songs or a messaging widget that allows for quick replies

•User-created UI elements: Allow users to create and share their UI elements, like custom buttons, sliders, or animations

Sidenote: If some of these features do not make it into One UI 7, they could perhaps appear in the future.

I can see where you may want a lot of these suggestions, but I also think these are more just add-on type features. Some of them are already accessible through apps. Some of these astetic options would also affect battery life and ram usage. Maybe having the availible on Samsung store as a download so it is not adding to install bloate as not everyone will want to add all of these feature to their device.

As for compatibility with other apps and platforms, I hope for this as well. I have reported a few examples where I feel better communication, and working with app developers will definitely be a major up in user happiness.

Offline mode for some things is already offered with some 3rd party apps. Google Maps has had offline maps for a while now. Apps having offline mode features is really dependent on the app development and type of app it is.

As for your wanting object recognition, it is still very young right now. We need far more powerful AI processing on the device before this will be availible with out sending data to a big server and getting a response. So I feel we are working on this, but we have a bit before this is in a place where people are truly happy with this tech.

The now bar I feel will be something we see some evolution to as we see more devs getting access too and we use it more. Also I would want Samsung to focus more on core OS issues before adding features or customizations that may actually create more problems with phone functionality. I personally have not had overheating issues with my device but I do have to wonder if your system overhead is adding to your issues. If you have your device running, a lot of these options. They may not seem like big options, but it is kinda like when you run programs in the background on your computer, Or running so many tabs on a browser. It is going effect your user experience because the CPU running hotter and your memory is filling up. OLED displays, even just having a darker or black background, can affect battery life in devices. Have to wonder if all these customizations are taking a toll on phone functionality?
